They say it takes a village to get through some things in life- and Augsburg faculty is part of that village. Faculty make themselves available but also care about their students and their well-being. You are not a number at Augsburg, you are a unique individual. There are many things that make Augsburg special. You are respected and celebrated for the individual you are, and you have a safe learning environment that is judgment free. 鈥淚 chose Augsburg for the Transcultural Nursing program. I听felt听very supported听by faculty. I was nervous to return to school at 50, it was the best thing I did for myself. I was bored with my career, returning to school reignited my love for nursing. I went on two听immersion trips听and met the best people and learned much more than I expected. I made great friends, had听amazing experiences听and have memories I treasure. The program stretched me in ways I did not expect. My confidence grew after graduating from Augsburg. and I went on to get my Women鈥檚 Health NP certificate. The faculty and students make up the fabric of Augsburg. I felt cared about and believed in.
