Admission Requirements TO APPLY

Bachelor’s Pathway Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or an appropriately certified foreign institution
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice as a PA
  • Undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Master’s Pathway Requirements:

  • Master’s degree from an ARC-PA accredited institution with an MSPAS, MPAS, or equivalent PA degree
  • Graduate GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scaleEnrolled in an ARC-PA accredited PA program (MSPAS, MPAS, or equivalent)

Early Admission Pathway Requirements:

  • Enrolled in an ARC-PA accredited PA program (MSPAS, MPAS, or equivalent)
  • Graduate GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Possess a strong record of leadership, scholarship, and service (indicated in professional goal statement of application)

Application Checklist

An admissions representative is available to help interested applicants complete the following required documentation:

  • Current Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Unofficial transcripts from all bachelor’s, master’s, and post-master’s institutions attended
  • Official, finalized degree transcripts required prior to matriculation

Transcript Information

Applicants must submit official transcripts from the institution granting the Bachelor’s degree and from the most recently attended institution, if different. Military veterans must submit all official transcripts from previously attended institutions to qualify for military benefits.

If prerequisite requirements, transfer credits, or waivers are requested, official transcripts must be submitted from all relevant institutions. The Program Director may request additional transcripts if needed.

Please note: Official transcripts must be requested through a verified transcript service such as National Student Clearinghouse or Parchment. Copies uploaded to the application are considered unofficial and will not be accepted.

Additional Information

International applicants: International applicants must submit the required materials listed above and should refer to the Graduate Admissions section for additional requirements.

Admission exceptions: In rare cases, applicants with a GPA below the stated requirement may be considered for admission if they provide documented evidence of readiness for doctoral study. All exceptions must be recommended by the admissions committee and approved by the Program Director.
