APPLICATIONS FOR 2026-2027 ARE NOW AVAILABLE!<\/a><\/h4>\n

The Christensen Scholars Program is a small group of ten academically accomplished students who share an interest in the theological and practical exploration of Christian community and vocation. The experience promises to be intellectual, communal, theological, dialogical, challenging, and practical.<\/span><\/p>\n

Structure<\/h3>\n

There are three components to the Christensen Scholars Program:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/b><\/p>\n

The Seminar: <\/b>Christensen Scholars gather every other Thursday evening from 6 pm-8 pm in a seminar-style class to reflect theologically and explore vocation and Christian community. This seminar qualifies as an elective for a religion major or minor, and it is co-taught by a Religion professor and a University Pastor.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

The Community:<\/b> Christensen Scholars actively engage in practices of Christian community together that will deepen your sense of self and belonging.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

The Trip:<\/b> Christensen Scholars take a pilgrimage together in mid-January. Past cohorts have visited Holden Village<\/a>\u00a0and Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp<\/a>. Together we engage in study, work, worship, and practices that build community. <\/span>There is also time for rest, retreat, and play. The trip will be in mid-January 2027, and all expenses will be covered.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
