\"Picture<\/a>All Augsburg TRIO\/SSS participants must be U.S. citizens<\/strong> or permanent residents<\/strong> or refugees<\/strong> pursuing their first bachelor\u2019s degree<\/strong>. Participants must be incoming or currently enrolled Augsburg students. All program participants must demonstrate academic need<\/strong>\u00a0for program services and meet\u00a0one or more<\/strong> of the following criteria:<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Low-income student:<\/strong>\u00a0a student whose family meets federal income eligibility guidelines, as verified by Augsburg.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0First-generation college student:<\/strong>\u00a0a student where neither custodial parent\/guardian has graduated from a four-year institution at the time of the student\u2019s enrollment in the TRIO\/SSS program.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0College student with documented disability,<\/strong>\u00a0as verified by Augsburg’s Franklin Groves Center for Learning and Accessible\u00a0Student Services (CLASS) office.<\/p>\n

Students\u00a0must<\/em>\u00a0also have a commitment to their college success.<\/p>\n

Program Objectives (for grant award year 2024-25)<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Number of Participants Funded to Serve and Served:<\/strong> 160 funded to serve; 172 current participants served (107%)<\/li>\n
  • 2\/3 Eligibility Requirement<\/strong> (First-generation and low-income, and\/or students with disabilities including students with disabilities who are also low-income): 137 or 80% of program participants<\/li>\n
  • 1\/3 Eligibility Requirement<\/strong> (Students with disabilities who are low-income): 18 or 82%<\/li>\n
  • Persistence Rate:<\/strong> 82% all participants served by the project will persist from one academic year to the beginning of the next academic year or graduate with a bachelor’s degree during the academic year. Objective met:100%<\/em><\/li>\n
  • Good Academic Standing:<\/strong> 89% of all enrolled participants served by the project will meet the performance level required to stay in good academic standing at the institution (cumulative 2.0 GPA). Objective met: 97%<\/em><\/li>\n
  • Graduation Rate (4-Year institution):<\/strong> 61% of 2019-20 cohort will graduate with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent within six years. Objective met: 84%<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
