Completing your Associate of Arts degree or the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC) at a community college?\u00a0 We have several ways for you to transfer to Augsburg University and complete your Bachelor\u2019s degree in only 2 additional years. We recommend completing your Associate of Arts degree or the MnTC in 4 semesters or less prior to starting at Augsburg as there are several academic and financial benefits of doing so.\u00a0 However, if you take longer or would like to transfer to Augsburg sooner, that is perfectly fine!\u00a0 Learn more about some of our programs designed to make transferring to Augsburg a smooth and affordable process.<\/p>\n
The Auggie Plan is designed for Minnesota students who want to begin their college experience at a community college but are seeking a clear and attainable path to a four-year degree. The Auggie Plan is a \u201c2+2\u201d plan where students spend 2 years at a community college finishing either their Associates of Arts degree or the MnTC and then 2 additional years at Augsburg completing their Bachelor\u2019s degree.<\/p>\n
Registering for the Auggie Plan is easy, just fill out our Auggie Plan form<\/a> to let us know you are attending one of our partner community colleges.\u00a0 Then work with your community college advisor to ensure you select coursework that will complete your Associates of Arts degree or the MnTC in 4 semesters or less.\u00a0 Students must meet the following criteria to be Auggie Plan students.<\/p>\n It\u2019s really that simple, earn your Associate of Arts degree or 60 transferable credits, including the MnTC, in 2 years at a Minnesota community college and your Bachelor\u2019s degree in 2 additional years at Augsburg.\u00a0 Auggie Plan students are strongly encouraged to live on campus, however residing on campus is not required<\/p>\n If you are interested in the Auggie Plan, please register below and reach out to the Transfer Counselor<\/a> that represents your school with questions.<\/p>\n <\/p>\nRegister for the Auggie Plan<\/a>\n <\/p>\n The Augsburg Full Tuition Scholars<\/a> program acknowledges strong academic success and is designed to make Augsburg University affordable for students with demonstrated financial need.\u00a0 Incoming transfer students will receive the total cost of tuition and standard fees (does not include room, board, or books) through scholarships and grants if they meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n Augsburg Full Tuition Scholar transfer recipients must continue to meet satisfactory academic progress during the completion of their Associates of Arts degree at their current community college.\u00a0 Augsburg Full Tuition Scholar recipients are strongly encouraged to live on campus, however residing on campus is not a requirement of the scholarship<\/p>\n We recognize that some students will take longer than 2 years to complete their Associate of Arts degree or the MnTC at their community college.\u00a0 This is completely fine and we look forward to you finishing your Bachelor\u2019s degree with us!\u00a0 Your Associates of Arts degree or 60 transferable credits, including the MnTC, will fulfill the liberal arts foundation coursework<\/a> requirements of your Bachelor\u2019s degree and you are still able to receive our Transfer Scholarships<\/a> upon admission along with a complete financial aid package once you submit your FAFSA or the MN Dream grant application.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n\n
