Meal Plan Requirements<\/h4>\n

All residents of Urness Hall, Anderson Hall, and Mortensen Hall, regardless of academic classification, are required to purchase a meal plan.<\/span><\/p>\n

All first-year students (first year at Augsburg, not classified as a transfer student) with Housing Contracts are required to purchase a 15-Plus meal plan or an equivalent plan.<\/span><\/p>\n

All students affiliated with the StepUP\u00ae program with Housing Contracts for Oren Gateway Center are required to purchase a meal plan for the first two semesters they are enrolled at Augsburg University (not including summer enrollment).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you are required to purchase a meal plan due to the aforementioned classifications, but do not select a meal plan, a 15-Plus meal plan will be applied to your student account, and you will be required to comply with all terms and conditions of the Meal Plan Contract.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meal Plan Adjustments<\/h4>\n

\"PhotoEligible students may adjust their meal plans at the beginning of each semester.\u00a0 Changes can be made to the meal plan until the 5th day of Fall or Spring semester classes. Please email residencelife@augsburg.edu\u00a0 for all Meal Plan Adjustment requests.<\/p>\n

Dietary Choices and Accommodations<\/h4>\n

Dining Services offers vegan options, vegetarian options, and items that do not contain gluten.\u00a0 Students can connect with a Registered Dietitian to consult about dietary choices and needs by contacting askadietitian@aladdinfood.com.<\/a><\/p>\n

If you have a physical,\u00a0 mental health, or other disability and believe you need a reasonable accommodation or modification in order to have an equal opportunity and meaningful access to Dining Services, documentation from an appropriate licensed professional supporting your request must be provided to the CLASS Disability Resources<\/a> office. Meal Plan Appeals<\/h4>\n

The Meal Plan Appeal Request Form<\/a> is for students who wish to appeal or to request an adjustment to their meal plan for circumstances not related to reasonable accommodations for disability.<\/p>\n

Circumstances considered for this appeal process include religious beliefs, observances, or practices, and cultural beliefs, observances, or practices that cannot be accommodated by the University’s Dining Services.<\/p>\n
