Full-time, degree-seeking Day program students at Augsburg University, Hamline University, Macalester College, St. Catherine University, and the University of St. Thomas may elect to take one course each semester (fall and spring) at one of the other campuses. No additional fee is required for such an exchange, except for private instruction in music or approved independent studies. Only courses in each institution’s Day program are available through the ACTC exchange.<\/p>\n
ACTC registration is subject to availability and registration policies at each institution. Denial of the request by the ACTC institution or class cancellation is outside Augsburg\u2019s control. Students enrolled in ACTC courses are responsible for attending classes even when the ACTC institution\u2019s calendar differs from Augsburg\u2019s calendar.<\/p>\n

No instructor signature is required during this period if all prerequisites are met and space is available.<\/p>\n 5. \u00a0Your ACTC registration will appear in AugNet<\/a> Records & Registration \u2013 My Classes.<\/p>\n Contact the Registrar\u2019s Office at 612-330-1036 or registrar@augsburg.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n Students pursuing an ACTC major or minor are allowed to take more than one ACTC course at a time, but must have the\u00a0ACTC Major\/Minor Declaration<\/a>\u00a0on file with the Augsburg University\u00a0Registrar\u2019s Office first.<\/p>\n Students completing a major or minor at an ACTC institution will need to meet with a faculty advisor from that department who will agree to serve as the student\u2019s advisor and complete an academic plan for the major or minor. If the ACTC major is the student\u2019s sole major, Academic Advising will serve as the Augsburg faculty advisor to review Core requirements, credit minimums, and lift registration holds.<\/p>\n Taking an ACTC course requires organization and planning. Before you decide to register for an ACTC course, look at the rest of the courses you are planning to register for and figure out your transportation and timing to make sure your schedule is reasonable. If you are planning an in person ACTC course, remember to allow for travel time.<\/p>\n Students taking courses at Hamline, Macalester, St. Catherine, or St. Thomas are encouraged to use Metro Transit, and can purchase the subsidized college pass at the bookstore. More information can also be found at Transportation at Augsburg<\/a>.<\/p>\n Any Augsburg student with a current Augsburg parking pass will be issued a “Cross Registered Student Parking Permit” to park on the other campuses for free. Pick up this permit at the Department of Public Safety, located in the Urness\/Mortensen lobby, which is open 24\/7. Bring a photo ID while requesting this permit.<\/p>\n\n
