{"id":94,"date":"2023-12-27T15:36:22","date_gmt":"2023-12-27T15:36:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/pseo\/?page_id=94"},"modified":"2026-02-03T16:23:30","modified_gmt":"2026-02-03T16:23:30","slug":"pseo-course-registration","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/pseo\/pseo-course-registration\/","title":{"rendered":"Course Registration"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Academic Advising<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"102\" data-end=\"285\">Our <strong data-start=\"106\" data-end=\"136\">Associate Director of PSEO<\/strong> will be your main point of contact throughout your PSEO journey \u2014 from enrollment and advising to matriculating as a first-year student at Augsburg.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"287\" data-end=\"479\">They\u2019ll guide you through the registration process and let you know if any <a href=\"https:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/advising\/placements\/\">placement tests<\/a> are required based on your completed high school courses, AP exams, or previous college-level coursework and the classes you&#8217;re planning to take.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"481\" data-end=\"743\">Course registration for PSEO students is a <strong data-start=\"546\" data-end=\"582\">collaborative and guided process<\/strong>. You\u2019ll work together to review your academic interests, graduation requirements, and long-term goals. Based on that conversation, the Associate Director will register you for courses on your behalf. This ensures your schedule aligns with high school graduation requirements while also supporting your college readiness and personal interests. While you won\u2019t register yourself, you\u2019ll be actively involved in shaping your course plan every semester.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"745\" data-end=\"1003\">After you are registered, the Associate Director of PSEO will be listed as your academic advisor. You can log into Augsburg\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/augsburg.navigate.eab.com\/app\/#\/access\"><strong data-start=\"869\" data-end=\"881\">Navigate<\/strong><\/a> system to view their information, schedule appointments, explore support resources, and stay on top of your college life.<\/p>\n<h2>Pre-Approved Courses<\/h2>\n<p>Minneapolis and Saint Paul Public Schools have each provided a list of pre-approved courses at Augsburg that meet a high school requirement. While students are not limited to pre-approved courses, registration for classes outside of these lists will need to be approved individually by their high school counselor.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a
