  {"id":152,"date":"2014-05-29T18:32:33","date_gmt":"2014-05-29T18:32:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/pro\/?page_id=152"},"modified":"2025-09-14T15:12:20","modified_gmt":"2025-09-14T15:12:20","slug":"inquire-apply","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/pro\/inquire-apply\/","title":{"rendered":"Inquire and Apply"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>What is adult undergraduate<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Adult Undergraduate (AU) program is a degree completion program for post-traditional students.\u00a0 Applicants are required to meet the following requirements for admission consideration for any Adult Undergraduate program:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Have a minimum of 12 transferable credits <\/span><b>and<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Are applying to one of the 11 eligible <a href=\"https:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/pro\/majors\/\">Adult Undergraduate majors <\/a><\/span><b>and<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Students must meet <b>one<\/b> of the following requirements:\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Majoring in English as a Second Language, B.A.; Special Education: ABS B.A., or RN to BSN, B.S. with 60 or more transferable credits\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Have 3+ years full-time work experience since high school graduation<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Have 3+ years of significant family care commitment since high school graduation<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Have 3+ years of a mix of non-full time college enrollment, work, family etc. since high school graduation<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Have military service since high school graduation<\/span><\/li>\n<li>24 years or older at the date of matriculation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AU students may not be eligible for day undergraduate co-curricular activities, intercollegiate athletics, and residence life (on campus housing) without permission from the Dean of Students and or Dean of Professional Studies. This report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Augsburg; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus.
