{"id":7296,"date":"2016-11-14T22:23:07","date_gmt":"2016-11-14T22:23:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/now\/?p=7296"},"modified":"2024-10-21T17:38:32","modified_gmt":"2024-10-21T17:38:32","slug":"new-academic-building-scales-heights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/now\/2016\/11\/14\/new-academic-building-scales-heights\/","title":{"rendered":"New academic building scales heights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">The Norman and Evangeline Hagfors Center for Science, Business, and Religion is on track to open for classes in January 2018.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">In the six months since the April 29 groundbreaking, McGough Construction and its subcontractors have completed the concrete work for the partial basement and most of the four floors of the north wing, and the three floors of the west wing. As the cement work has finished, the team has undertaken installation of electrical conduit, plumbing, and framing for interior walls.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Hagfors Center brings together the study of global business, advanced science and technology, and religious dialogue.
