Institutions are recognized based on\u00a0evidence of their collaboration with the larger\u00a0community, which:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>enriches scholarship, research, and creative\u00a0activity;<\/li>\n<li>enhances curriculum, teaching, and learning;<\/li>\n<li>prepares educated, engaged citizens;<\/li>\n<li>strengthens democratic values and civic\u00a0responsibility;<\/li>\n<li>addresses critical societal issues; and<\/li>\n<li>contributes to the public good.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Augsburg was one of only eight\u00a0Minnesota colleges or universities\u00a0recognized in 2015.
