Augsburg\u2019s large instrumental ensembles will offer free, public concerts on campus this November, showcasing outstanding students performing a wide range of repertoire across styles and genres.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Concert Band<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">On November 16, the Augsburg Concert Band, under the direction of Kenneth Green II, will perform &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1jtwopARYkUcxfXW2Td4eRy-bC7_6JFhf\/view?usp=drive_link\"><span class=\"s2\">Diversions<\/span><\/a>,&#8221; with guest conductor Tommy Jacobs \u201915, and alto saxophone soloist Anthony Sabatine \u201927. The program will include compositions by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Bernhard Heiden, Clifton Williams, David Maslanka, Kevin Day, Julie Giroux, and John Mackey.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Sunday, November 16, 3 p.m.<br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"s1\">Hoversten Chapel, Foss Center<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s3\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/music\/ensembles\/concertband\/\">Learn more about the Augsburg Concert Band.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Jazz Ensemble<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">At their <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1pZzzE8e834JW_uyjm7Tfgibfwv7-CmJe\/view?usp=drive_link\"><span class=\"s2\">fall concert<\/span><\/a> on November 18, the Augsburg Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Kenneth Green II, will perform tunes by Dave Brubeck, Duke Ellington, Mongo Santamar\u00eda, and Mike Steinel, with featured vocalist Joey Kelly \u201927.
