\"\"Anne Frame<\/strong>, 84, passed away July 13, in Red Wing, Minnesota. She was the spouse of Bill Frame<\/strong>, Augsburg\u2019s ninth president who served from 1997 to 2006. They were a part of Augsburg\u2019s Sven Oftedal Society, a group of generous donors who have arranged a deferred gift to the university to provide student scholarships.<\/p>\n

Anne was involved in many parts of the Augsburg community, including as a member of the Augsburg Associates<\/a>. She welcomed students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends to Augsburg House. She sang a folk song with<\/p>\n

Bill during a 2004 Auggie Variety Show, engaged with students at Augsburg\u2019s Late Night Breakfast during finals week, and participated in a trip to China with Bill and other Minnesota private college presidents to increase the number of undergraduate student exchanges between the United States and China. Anne will be remembered for her Auggie spirit of dedication, generosity, and service.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
