Kailash Satyarthi, who was awarded the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize for his work liberating more than 80,000 children from slavery in his home country of India, will present each day of the Forum.<\/p>\n<p>Satyarthi will share his work to eliminate child slavery and child trafficking. To date, he and his organization Bachpan Bachao Andolan (Save the Childrem Movement) have rescued more than 85,000 children in India from slavery and exploitation, enrolled the children in school, and pioneered India&#8217;s first child-protection laws.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re so honored to welcome Kailash Satyarthi to the Forum to share insights and experiences from his life\u2019s work, and to do so at the center of a network of peace builders who are working to ensure more widespread and lasting success on these vital efforts to improve quality of life and opportunity for people around the world,\u201d said Gina Torry, executive director of the Forum.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is through an embrace of innovation, collaboration, dialogue and the moral daring exhibited by leaders such as Kailash Satyarthi that we can identify and address peace and security implications of \u2014 and connections among \u2014 human trafficking, migration, refugees and climate change.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">9-11 a.m., June 6: Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Kailash Satyarthi addresses attendees, live global question and answer moderated by Asle Toje, research director of the Norwegian Nobel Institute.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2-3 p.m., June 7: \u201cClimate as a Threat Multiplier,\u201d dialogue with Kailash Satyarthi and international leaders about how climate disruption affects the viability of the civil state and heightens potential for civil and interstate conflict.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">9-10 a.m., June 8: \u201cThe Way We Lead Matters,\u201d dialogue with Kailash Satyarthi and international experts about innovative ways to combat trafficking and child labor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The 2016 Nobel Peace Prize Forum will be at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.radissonblu.com\/en\/hotel-mall-of-america\">Radisson Blu Mall of America<\/a>,\u00a02100 Killebrew Drive,\u00a0Bloomington, MN 55425.
