Several have been working at Augsburg for more than six months, while one had just started on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The orientation included presentations about the College&#8217;s mission, history, and students, as well as on Information Technology, Central Services, and Safety and Security.<\/p>\n<p>&#8221; The orientation was a great introduction to the Augsburg culture and mission,&#8221; says Leslie Larson, events and conference coordinator. &#8220;It really helped me understand how the students are the main focus on everything we do. Not being from an academic background, I really appreciated the information on how the faculty and staff work together.&#8221;<!--more-->Brian Noy, the new Campus Kitchen director, adds, &#8220;It was great to see so many people from across campus interacting.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday&#8217;s orientation concluded with the President&#8217;s Community Time\/CTL<\/p>\n<p>Wine and Cheese Reception, which was attended by over 40 returning faculty<\/p>\n<p>and staff.
