Augsburg\u2019s largest incoming class was in Fall 2019, when 636 first-year students enrolled. In 2020, it welcomed its second-largest class. This year\u2019s incoming class is on track to be approximately the same size as the previous two years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, the percentage of BIPOC students at Augsburg has increased significantly since 2008. That year, 18% of incoming students identified as BIPOC. More recently, approximately 65% of first-year students have identified as BIPOC.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A recent KARE-11 News report on <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kare11.com\/article\/news\/local\/u-of-mn-sees-boost-in-enrollment-for-upcoming-school-year\/89-f5f4ae23-14d3-442c-a980-3f3071e6e547\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fall 2021 enrollment at local universities<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> included a brief interview with Robert Gould, Augsburg\u2019s vice president for strategic enrollment management.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Augsburg University is once again set to welcome one of its largest and most diverse classes this fall.
