Each year the U.S. Department of State\u2019s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs announces the top producing institutions for the Fulbright Program, the U.S. government&#8217;s flagship international educational exchange program. The Chronicle of Higher Education publishes <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chronicle.com\/article\/top-producers-of-fulbright-u-s-scholars-and-students-2020-21\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the lists<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of top producers of Fulbright U.S. scholars and students annually.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Five Augsburg students received 2020-21 Fulbright awards to teach English in four countries. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The students are Winni Godi \u201917 (Rwanda), Abdulkadir Sharif \u201920 (Malaysia), Eh Soe Dwe \u201920 (Malaysia), Natalya Arevalo \u201920 (Honduras), and Bethany Lor \u201919 (South Korea).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Fulbright competition is administered at Augsburg through the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/urgo\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Office of Undergraduate Research and Graduate Opportunity<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Fulbright Program was created to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. Students can teach English, participate in graduate study, or conduct research. Fulbright is the world\u2019s largest and most diverse international educational exchange program.
