You didn\u2019t start your degree at Augsburg, but you can finish it here.\u00a0We welcome transfer students from colleges and universities across the U.S. and the world. From the very beginning of your experience, you\u2019ll find people who will try and help make your transition to Augsburg as easy as possible.<\/p>\n

Transferring from a\u00a0U.S. college or university<\/h2>\n

Complete the following steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Complete the\u00a0Augsburg Application<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Submit a non-refundable application fee of $100.00 (US Dollars)<\/li>\n
  3. Request official transcript(s) from all post-secondary institutions attended<\/li>\n
  4. Request final secondary school transcript\/certificate if<\/strong>\u00a0you have completed less than one year<\/strong> of college level coursework (approximately 24-32 credits)<\/li>\n
  5. Send one letter of academic recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor (optional)<\/li>\n
  6. Provide Proof of English Language Proficiency (see below)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Transferring from a college or university outside the U.S.<\/h2>\n

    Complete the following steps:<\/p>\n

    1. Complete the\u00a0Augsburg Application<\/a><\/li>\n
    2. Submit a non-refundable application fee of $100.00 (US Dollars)<\/li>\n
    3. Request final secondary school transcript\/certificate\u00a0if<\/strong>\u00a0you have completed\u00a0less than one year<\/strong>\u00a0of college level coursework (approximately 24-32 credits)<\/li>\n
    4. Request official transcript(s) from all post-secondary institutions attended (for documents not in English, please include the English translation) and may be required to provide a Professional Credential Evaluation from World Education Services<\/a>,\u00a0Educational Credential Evaluators<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0any NACES<\/a> accredited organization upon the request from Augsburg.<\/li>\n
    5. Submit one letter of academic recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor (optional)<\/li>\n
    6. Provide Proof of English Language Proficiency (see below)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Providing Proof of English Language Proficiency<\/h2>\n

      To fulfill Augsburg University\u2019s English Language Proficiency Requirement, all applicants must provide evidence of a sufficient command of both written and spoken English. Non-native to the US English language speakers may be exempt from this requirement and request a waiver based on the successful demonstration of one of the following (applicants may be asked to provide official documentation):<\/p>\n
