The Augsburg University Board of Regents and the Augsburg Alumni Board proudly bestow awards in recognition of lives that exemplify the ideals and mission of Augsburg University. These awards are presented each year at Homecoming, and honor Auggies who have made a significant impact in life and society. Help us celebrate the breadth of Auggie accomplishments by nominating someone who you think exemplifies the ideals and mission of Augsburg University in the world. The awards are:<\/div>\n

Distinguished Alumni Award<\/h3>\n
The Augsburg\u00a0University Board of Regents and the Augsburg Alumni Association bestow the Distinguished Alumni Award in recognition of significant achievement in vocation, for outstanding contribution to church and community, and for a life that exemplifies the ideals and mission of Augsburg\u00a0University.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

First Decade Award<\/h3>\n

The First Decade Award is presented to Augsburg graduates of the past 10 years who have made significant progress in their professional achievements and contributions to the community, and in so doing exemplify the mission of the\u00a0University: to prepare future leaders in service to the world. Graduates from the day, weekend, and graduate programs are eligible.<\/p>\n

Spirit of Augsburg Award<\/h3>\n

The Spirit of Augsburg Award honors alumni and friends of the University who have given exceptional service that contributes substantially to the well-being of Augsburg by furthering its purposes and programs. Alumni, friends, faculty and staff, and groups who have served the University are eligible.<\/p>\n

Distinguished Service Award<\/h3>\n
The Distinguished Service Award, inaugurated in its current form at Homecoming 2001, recognizes families who have made substantial and continuing contributions to Augsburg\u2014in the form of students and graduates, ideas, reputation, and resources.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
