To celebrate and recognize the generosity of our donors, Augsburg University has giving societies. An annual commitment at any society or sustainer level secures a bright future for our students, but each society will be recognized distinctly according to their cumulative yearly (from June 1-May 31 each year) giving.<\/p>\n

The below society levels are recognized solely based on donations to the Augsburg Fund.<\/b><\/p>\n

Augsburg Fund Giving Levels<\/h2>\n

Ambassadors Society <\/strong>
\n$1,000 – $2,499.99<\/p>\n

Leadership Society<\/strong>
\n$2,500 – $4,999.99<\/p>\n

Directors Society<\/strong>
\n$5,000 – $9,999.99<\/p>\n

Deans Society<\/strong>
\n$10,000 – $24,999.99<\/p>\n

Presidents Society <\/strong>
\n$25,000 – $49,999.99<\/p>\n

Founders Society<\/strong>
\n$50,000+<\/p>\n

Additional Augsburg Giving Societies<\/h2>\n

Augsburg Maroon and Silver Society
\n<\/strong>Donors in the Maroon and Silver Society are recognized for contributions totaling over $1,000 between June 1 and May 31 of each year to any fund at Augsburg. Learn more about the Maroon and Silver Society<\/a> and see a list of Maroon and Silver Society donors.<\/p>\n

Augsburg Sustainers <\/strong>
\nAugsburg Sustainers make a monthly contribution to Augsburg University. Whether you are staff, student, alumni, or friends of Augsburg, set up a monthly gift to Augsburg<\/a> to be a part of the Augsburg Sustainers Society.<\/p>\n

What differentiates Augsburg from other schools is the environment that\u2019s been created for students. Many students we serve come from backgrounds where higher-education might not be thought of as a possibility. Augsburg is an institution that remains accessible because of the generosity of our financial supporters<\/strong>. <\/em>My biggest motivation for giving is my firm belief in making sure we continue to have relevant curriculum, faculty, and staff that are committed to supporting students all the way through their education.<\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve had the opportunity to spend time with students and professors during the academic year and during summer independent research. What I see at Augsburg is diversity in perspectives, belief systems, class, race, etc. It\u2019s reflective of what the world looks like, what it believes, and how it behaves. Learning and experiencing \u2018differentness\u2019 in all its aspects is vitally important to preparing future generations of citizens and leaders of our community and world.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
