Recent performances include Bach\u2019s Mass in B minor,\u00a0<em>St. Mathew Passion<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>St. John Passion<\/em>, Mendelssohn\u2019s\u00a0<em>Elijah<\/em>, Mahler\u2019s\u00a0<em>Das Lied von der Erde<\/em>, Verdi\u2019s\u00a0<em>Requiem<\/em>, Elgar\u2019s\u00a0<em>Dream of Gerontius<\/em>, Handel\u2019s\u00a0<em>Messiah<\/em>, numerous Bach cantatas, and Elgar\u2019s\u00a0<em>Sea Pictures<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Susan recently performed with the Minnesota Orchestra as Mercedes in the Sommerfest production of\u00a0<em>Carmen<\/em>. A Metropolitan Opera audition winner, she has performed such varied stage roles as Suzuki in\u00a0<em>Madame Butterfly<\/em>, Jocasta in\u00a0<em>Oedipus Rex<\/em>, the Princess in\u00a0<em>Suor Angelica<\/em>, and the title role in\u00a0<em>Carmen<\/em>.
