I graduated from University of Texas Pan American (now called University of Texas Rio Grande Valley) with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. I have been teaching for 17 years, 15 of those years teaching AP Calculus AB\/BC. My Calculus adventures started at Southside High School, located in San Antonio, Texas. I was lucky enough to have won Teacher of the Year in the spring of 2014. In 2016 I transitioned to Young Women\u2019s Leadership Academy, also located in San Antonio, where I have been ever since. I have also had the privilege of being an AP Reader for the last 7 years which has made me a much better educator. Throughout my entire career I\u2019ve always had awesome hard-working students who value education. Teaching the youth is my purpose. I hope to inspire you to be the best teacher you can be for your kids.<\/p>\n
