{"id":52661,"date":"2022-04-16T14:50:42","date_gmt":"2022-04-16T14:50:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/dps\/?p=52661"},"modified":"2022-04-16T14:50:42","modified_gmt":"2022-04-16T14:50:42","slug":"timely-notice-4-16-2022-armed-robbery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/dps\/2022\/04\/16\/timely-notice-4-16-2022-armed-robbery\/","title":{"rendered":"Timely Notice 4\/16\/2022: Armed Robbery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>TIMELY NOTICE BULLETIN<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Armed Robbery<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>4\/16\/2022<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In compliance with the \u201cTimely Notice\u201d provision of the federal <\/span><b>Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Augsburg University Department of Public Safety is giving notice of a concerning incident that occurred in<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lot L on the Minneapolis campus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>REPORTED OFFENSE:\u00a0 Armed Robbery<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Today, April 16, Augsburg\u2019s Department of Public Safety received a report that at<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">around 7:05 a.m. an attempted<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">armed robbery occurred in Lot L. A non-Augsburg individual was walking toward their car when a male approached her, demanded her money, and pulled out a handgun. The suspect ran off campus without taking anything.\u00a0 There currently is no description of the suspect, and the Minneapolis Police have been notified of this incident.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>STATUS: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Augsburg Public Safety is cooperating with the Minneapolis Police (MPD) investigation of this incident. Anyone who may have information regarding this incident is urged to contact MPD or Augsburg Public Safety at 612-330-1717.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please report any and all concerns that may impact our campus community.
