{"id":52610,"date":"2021-09-29T19:08:18","date_gmt":"2021-09-29T19:08:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/dps\/?p=52610"},"modified":"2021-09-29T19:13:55","modified_gmt":"2021-09-29T19:13:55","slug":"timely-notice-vehicle-thefts-on-minneapolis-campus-9-29-21","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/dps\/2021\/09\/29\/timely-notice-vehicle-thefts-on-minneapolis-campus-9-29-21\/","title":{"rendered":"Timely Notice: Vehicle Thefts on Minneapolis Campus 9\/29\/21"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Motor Vehicle Thefts<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>September 29, 2021<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In compliance with the \u201cTimely Notice\u201d provision of the federal <\/span><b>Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Augsburg University Department of Public Safety is giving notice of concerning incidents that occurred on the Minneapolis campus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>REPORTED OFFENSE:\u00a0 Motor Vehicle Thefts<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Today, September 29, Augsburg\u2019s Department of Public Safety received multiple reports of vehicles being stolen out of Lot B within the last 24 hours.\u00a0 One report involved two vehicles which were left unlocked with the keys left in the vehicles; these vehicles were stolen between 6:15 A.M. and 6:20 A.M. on Wednesday September 29.\u00a0 A second report stated a single vehicle was taken between 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday September 28 and 11:00 A.M on Wednesday September 29.\u00a0 Both reports have been shared with the Minneapolis Police, who are actively investigating the thefts.\u00a0 No suspect descriptions are available at this time.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>STATUS: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Augsburg Public Safety and the Minneapolis Police (MPD) are currently investigating these incidents. Anyone who may have information regarding these incidents is urged to contact MPD or Augsburg DPS at 612-330-1717.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please report any and all concerns that may impact our campus community.
