{"id":52575,"date":"2020-07-28T01:48:18","date_gmt":"2020-07-28T01:48:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/dps\/?p=52575"},"modified":"2020-07-28T02:06:54","modified_gmt":"2020-07-28T02:06:54","slug":"timely-notice-7-27-2020-robbery-on-minneapolis-campus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/dps\/2020\/07\/28\/timely-notice-7-27-2020-robbery-on-minneapolis-campus\/","title":{"rendered":"Timely Notice 7\/27\/2020: Robbery on Minneapolis Campus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>7\/27\/2020<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0In compliance with the \u201cTimely Notice\u201d provision of the federal <\/span><b>Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Augsburg University Department of Public Safety is giving notice of a concerning incident that occurred in Lot K on the Minneapolis Campus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>REPORTED OFFENSE:\u00a0 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Robbery<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Today, July 27, Augsburg\u2019s Department of Public Safety received a report that at 6:45 p.m.. today, a robbery occurred in Lot K near the Ice Arena. A witness told officers that an individual parked their vehicle in Lot K and when they got out of the vehicle four suspects surrounded the victim and took their wallet and phone. After taking the items from the victim, all four suspects entered a grey Honda with no license plates and left westbound on Riverside Avenue. No descriptions of the suspects were available and no weapons were seen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>STATUS: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Augsburg Public Safety and the Minneapolis Police (MPD) are currently investigating this incident. Anyone who may have information regarding this incident is urged to contact MPD or Augsburg DPS at 612-330-1717.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please report any and all concerns that may impact our campus community.
