In compliance with the \u201cTimely Notice\u201d provision of the federal\u00a0<\/span>Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998\u00a0<\/b>Augsburg University Department of Public Safety is giving notice of a concerning incident that occurred on 22<\/span>nd<\/span>\u00a0Ave in front of the Hagfors Center on the Minneapolis campus.<\/span><\/p>\n REPORTED OFFENSE: \u00a0Robbery<\/b><\/p>\n Today, 08\/17\/2018, DPS received a report that at 3:10 PM on 8\/17\/2018, a robbery at gunpoint occurred on 21st<\/span>\u00a0Ave S in front of the Hagfors Center at Augsburg University. \u00a0The victim, who is not affiliated with Augsburg, was sitting on the benches on the east side of the Hagfors Center looking at their phone. \u00a0The victim was approached by two individuals, one put a gun to the victim\u2019s head and demanded the victim\u2019s property. A backpack, purse and cell phone were taken. \u00a0The suspects fled to a black sedan parked on the east side of 22<\/span>nd<\/span>\u00a0Ave S under the Hagfors Center skyway and left Northbound on 22<\/span>nd<\/span>\u00a0Ave. \u00a0There is no further suspect or vehicle description at this point.<\/span><\/p>\n SAFETY TIPS:<\/b> STATUS:\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>This incident is currently under investigation by Public Safety and the Minneapolis<\/span>
