Please read Augsburg&#8217;s fob and key policies below.<\/p>\n<span class=\"screen-reader-text\">Use the button on the following heading to expand content on Picking Up Keys and Fobs<\/span><h3 class=\"augs_expand_expandable_heading\"><button data-action=\"expands\" aria-controls=\"augs_expand_69e3a24d9e55e\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Picking Up Keys and Fobs<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"augs_expand_69e3a24d9e55e\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/p>\n<p>Faculty, staff, and students must do the following when picking up a key from the Department of Public Safety:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Show a photo ID. Keys and Fobs may only be picked up by the person they were made for.<\/li>\n<li>Provide a signature.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are requesting a fob or key for a temporary employee, adjunct faculty member, consultant, or other individuals who are not familiar with the Augsburg campus, it is your responsibility to communicate their responsibilities as a keyholder to them.<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div>\n<span class=\"screen-reader-text\">Use the button on the following heading to expand content on Requesting Academic Keys<\/span><h3 class=\"augs_expand_expandable_heading\"><button data-action=\"expands\" aria-controls=\"augs_expand_69e3a24d9e58e\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Requesting Academic Keys<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"augs_expand_69e3a24d9e58e\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/p>\n<h4><strong>New Academic Keys<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Academic keys may be requested through the <a href=\"http:\/\/augnet.augsburg.edu\/augservices\/form_dispatch?form=keyfob\">Access Request Form<\/a>. Please note:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Academic Key requests should be completed by Department Directors or Chairs.<\/li>\n<li>Key requests must be filled out individually. One form should be used for only one person and one area.<\/li>\n<li>If you need multiple keys, please submit one form for each key.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Replacement Academic Keys<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>If you lose or have your key stolen, please notify the Department of Public Safety immediately so that we can take action to secure the spaces in which they give access to. You can request a replacement academic key through the <a href=\"http:\/\/augnet.augsburg.edu\/augservices\/form_dispatch?form=keyfob\">Access Request Form<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div>\n<span class=\"screen-reader-text\">Use the button on the following heading to expand content on Requesting Residential Keys<\/span><h3 class=\"augs_expand_expandable_heading\"><button data-action=\"expands\" aria-controls=\"augs_expand_69e3a24d9e5b3\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Requesting Residential Keys<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"augs_expand_69e3a24d9e5b3\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/p>\n<h4><strong>New Residential Keys<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Keys for residence hall rooms and access to residential buildings (Anderson, Luther, Mortensen, Oren Gateway, and Urness) are handled by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/residencelife\">Residence Life<\/a>. Students living in on-campus housing will be issued keys at the beginning of their housing contract and should contact Residence Life if a replacement key is needed.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Replacement Residential Keys<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Lost or stolen residential keys should be reported to the Department of Public Safety immediately, who will coordinate with Residence Life to replace the key(s) and rekey the space if needed. Residence Life and\/or Public Safety will assist the student in submitting requests for replacement keys.<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div>\n<span class=\"screen-reader-text\">Use the button on the following heading to expand content on Requesting Fobs<\/span><h3 class=\"augs_expand_expandable_heading\"><button data-action=\"expands\" aria-controls=\"augs_expand_69e3a24d9e5f6\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Requesting Fobs<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"augs_expand_69e3a24d9e5f6\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/p>\n<h4><strong>New Fobs<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>For all Fob requests, please go to the Dispatch window in the Mortensen Hall and Urness Tower lobby anytime (Dispatch is open 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week) and they can activate a Fob for you.<\/p>\n<p>Fobs for all Augsburg community members includes access to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Urness-Mortensen Lobby (24 hours)<\/li>\n<li>Academic building exteriors (during <a href=\"https:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/dps\/campus-building-hours\/\">normal building hours<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Kennedy and Si Melby Fitness Centers (according to open hours set by Athletics)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All other access must be requested.
