Free condoms at the <\/span>Center for Wellness & Counseling<\/span><\/a> on campus (when center is open; Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm Fall and Spring semesters)\u00a0 First Floor Anderson Residence Hall<\/span><\/p>\n

Minnesota Family Planning Program <\/a>provides free family planning services, including free birth control and yearly exams, if you qualify.\u00a0 Many of the clinics below will help you apply for the program.<\/p>\n

Minnesota Family Planning and STI Hotline<\/a><\/p>\n

People’s Center<\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0Accepts most insurance.\u00a0 Sliding fee scale for the uninsured. \u00a0Will help you apply for state and federal medical assistance programs.\u00a0 \u00a0Navigating the People’s Center Care with Different Insurances<\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0People’s Center Sliding Fee Scale Eligibility<\/a> (note a college student will generally be considered as a household of one)<\/p>\n

Red Door Clinic<\/a> — Hennepin County Public Health Clinic — HIV\/STI Testing Center and Pregnancy Prevention Services. \u00a0Located downtown Minneapolis (ten minutes away on light rail — Downtown East\/Metrodome station) Services are not free but no one is turned away for inability to pay. \u00a0To protect your privacy, they don’t send bills in the mail.<\/p>\n

Community-University Health Care Center<\/a> — provides STI testing and treatment, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing, family planning, and birth control in their medical clinic. \u00a0Culturally competent services (has staff who speak Somali, Spanish, Hmong, Vietnamese & other languages) . \u00a0If you do not have insurance, they will help you figure out what programs you might be eligible for, and will help you apply. \u00a0Located near the Franklin Avenue light rail station.<\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood — St. Paul Health Center <\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0(Midway St. Paul, near Raymond Avenue Light Rail Station) Services provided even without insurance. \u00a0 Walk-in emergency contraception, walk-in birth control, walk-in pregnancy testing. \u00a0STD and free HIV testing. \u00a0 \u00a0651-698-2406 \u00a0 \u00a0Other locations of Planned Parenthood<\/a><\/p>\n

Family Tree Clinic<\/a> \u00a0 \u00a0Low cost birth control without an exam; free rapid HIV testing for uninsured patients (results in 20 minutes), comprehensive STI testing and treatment, annual exams, birth control, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing and all options counseling. \u00a0Trans health services. \u00a0Sliding fee scale. \u00a0Located South Minneapolis.<\/p>\n
