Students starting or transferring in Spring 2026 will be required to attend Spring SOAR.<\/p>\n

Spring SOAR is a required orientation program for all incoming first-year and transfer undergraduate students starting at Augsburg University in the Spring Semester, designed to help with the transition to Augsburg University. Students will learn about university resources and services; meet fellow students, faculty, and staff; and discover the benefits of the Augsburg community.<\/p>\n

Register for SPRING SOAR<\/h2>\n

Register for Spring SOAR by logging into your student status page<\/a> and completing the “Required: Registration Appointment” form. This is also where you will schedule your appointment to register for classes with your Academic Advisor.<\/p>\n

Are students required to ATTEND TRANSFER SOAR?<\/h2>\n

Yes. Spring SOAR is required for all <\/strong>incoming transfer Day undergraduate students starting at Augsburg University in Spring 2026.<\/p>\n

What do students need to do prior to attending Spring SOAR?<\/h2>\n

  1. All incoming students need to register for their spring classes with the Office of Academic Advising prior to attending Spring SOAR. To register for classes, complete the “Required: Registration Appointment” form found on your\u00a0student status page<\/a> and meet with your Academic Advisor.<\/li>\n
  2. All incoming students need to meet with a Financial Aid Specialist. To make an appointment, contact Student Financial Services at\u00a0studentfinances@augsburg.edu<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0612-330-1046 or you can schedule an appointment online by clicking\u00a0HERE<\/strong><\/a>. Student Financial Services also takes day-of walk-in appointments during business hours.\u00a0Note: Make sure your FAFSA has been completed and has been sent to Augsburg University.<\/em><\/li>\n
  3. Transfer students <\/strong>should visit the Deposited Transfer Student<\/strong><\/a> webpage and make sure they have attended to all of the information shared on the page. For questions, contact Admissions at transfer@augsburg.edu<\/a> or 612-330-1001.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    When do students who will be living on campus for Spring SOAR move into their residence hall?<\/h2>\n

    Students will receive information on their specific move-in date and time from the Department of Residence Life. For additional move-in questions, or if you wish to learn more about how to live on campus, please contact Residence Life at\u00a0residencelife@augsburg.edu<\/a>\u00a0or 612-330-1526.<\/p>\n

    Need accommodations?<\/h2>\n

    Any student with a disability-related concern in regards to Spring SOAR should contact the CLASS\/Disability Resources Office<\/a> at\u00a0class@augsburg.edu<\/a>\u00a0or 612-330-1053. Contacting CLASS two or more weeks prior to SOAR will help ensure that all necessary arrangements will be available.<\/p>\n
