Getting involved on a college campus is important for several reasons, from personal development, social connections, cultural awareness, and mental well-being. Augsburg offers a number of opportunities for students to engage with the campus and the community.<\/p>\n

Augsburg Day Student Government<\/h3>\n

The Augsburg Day Student Government is the official governing body of the Day Student population at Augsburg University. It advocates for\u00a0ideas, concerns, needs, and activities of the Day Student Body.<\/p>\n

Day Student Government is officially responsible for allocating and spending the Activity Fee and Green Fee, recognizing student organizations, fielding student concerns and bringing them forward to appropriate University officials, among other responsibilities.<\/p>\n

Augsburg Student Activities Council<\/h3>\n<\/header>\n

The Augsburg Student Activity Council (ASAC) seeks to build community and provide opportunities for students to grow holistically through intentional and diverse programming.\u00a0 ASAC plans and orchestrates some of the largest student programming on campus, including Homecoming, concerts, comedy shows, late night programming activities, movies, and much more.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Environmental Action Project Grant<\/h3>\n

Augsburg Day Student Government provides funding through the\u00a0Environmental Action Project Grant for environmentally-focused projects and events taking place on campus. All Augsburg University students, staff, faculty, student organizations, departments, and offices are eligible to apply for such funding.<\/p>\n
