All\u00a0Augsburg University students, staff, faculty, student organizations, departments, and offices are eligible to apply for such funding.<\/p>\n<h2>For what can funds be used?<\/h2>\n<p>Funds can be used towards events or projects that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Aim to reduce emissions harmful to the environment.<\/li>\n<li>Promote environmental education, awareness, projects, and visibility.<\/li>\n<li>Aim to dismantle cultural, racial, and\/or systemic issues of environmental discrimination and degradation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How does one apply for funding?<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/augsburg.campuslabs.com\/engage\/forms\"><strong>Click here to apply for funding from the Environmental Action Project Grant.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Only currently enrolled Augsburg students or currently employed Augsburg staff or faculty (including adjunct faculty) may complete this application.<\/p>\n<p>Grant applications must be submitted online to Augsburg Day Student Government at least 2 weeks prior to when the funds are needed. Grant applications submitted within 2 weeks of the funds being needed will automatically not be considered.\u00a0Funds can not be retroactively requested for completed or already in-progress projects.<\/p>\n<p>The Environmental Action Grant Project Application is open from <strong>August 1 through April 1<\/strong> each academic year.<\/p>\n<h2>How are decisions made?<\/h2>\n<p>Grant applications are reviewed by the Day Student Government Environmental Action Committee on a weekly basis. Recommendations are then made to the Augsburg Day Student Government, which meets and votes on proposals every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. during the academic year. Applicants will be notified about the status of their grant applications every Thursday by noon at the latest.<\/p>\n<h2>Who should I contact if I have questions?<\/h2>\n<p>A representative of the Augsburg Day Student Government is available to respond to questions or requests for assistance in completing this grant application.
