They toured Science Hall with outstanding \u00a0science faculty and learned first-hand of impressive research by Augsburg science students\u00a0 in chemistry, biology and physics.<\/p>\n<p>Following the tour the group gathered in the Marshall\u00a0 Room to learn from a distinguished faculty panel representing\u00a0 the \u00a0Center for Science Business and Religion (CSBR) related disciplines:\u00a0 Drs. Vivian Feng ( chemistry) Benjamin Stottrup \u00a0(physics)\u00a0 Matthew Beckman \u00a0(biology), Dale Pederson \u201970 (biology chair), Jeanne Boeh (economics), and Phil Quanbeck (religion).<\/p>\n<p>The faculty articulated what a CSBR would mean for Augsburg student learning, laboratory and research experience.\u00a0 A lively conversation about teaching at the interface of science, business and religion\u00a0 ensued.\u00a0 Chemistry alumni joined\u00a0 in sharing their own experiences of Augsburg\u2019s rich legacy over several decades.
