It\u2019s also anticipated that many students will have similar issues in the fall as they return to school.\u00a0Currently, many nearby stores are temporarily closed and transportation outside of the area isn\u2019t always reliable. As a result, Augsburg Women Engaged (AWE)\u00a0is sponsoring a drive for the Campus Cupboard and ShareShop to support these students now as well as in the future.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Items can be dropped off June 25 from 3 to 6 p.m., in Lot D at Augsburg.<\/strong> You can also make an online donation which Augsburg will use to purchase small appliances, household items, tools, food in bulk, and gift cards to local businesses such as Seward Coop so our students can be supported with the goods and services they need. Please use the designation: Other and in the \u201cOther\u201d field, enter Campus Cupboard.<\/p>\n<p>A recommended list of items to donate is below.<\/p>\n<h2>Campus Cupboard Donation List:<\/h2>\n<p>Non-perishable food such as<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mac &amp; cheese<\/li>\n<li>Ramen<\/li>\n<li>Canned tuna\/chicken<\/li>\n<li>Canned soup (Preferred: more complex soups, i.e., not \u2018cream of\u2019 or tomato )<\/li>\n<li>Rice<\/li>\n<li>Protein supplements (chia, flax, veg protein, whey)<\/li>\n<li>High quality granola bars<\/li>\n<li>Canned beans<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Hygiene and cleaning supplies such as<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Toothbrush<\/li>\n<li>Toothpaste<\/li>\n<li>Menstrual products<\/li>\n<li>Shampoo\/ Conditioner<\/li>\n<li>Band-Aids<\/li>\n<li>Laundry Detergent (Preferred brands: Seventh Generation, Meyers, Method, Biokleen)<\/li>\n<li>Dish Soap (Preferred brands: Seventh Generation, Ecover, Method, Dr Bronner\u2019s)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thank you for considering a donation!<\/p>\n<p>AWE<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With\u00a0no safe housing alternatives for many Augsburg students during COVID-19,\u00a0they\u00a0remain on campus this summer.
