Final few weeks to register for this trip!<\/h2>\nFinal few weeks to register for this trip!<\/h2>\nNorway is known to be one of the \u201chappiest places on earth.\u201d Is it the people? Is it the food? Is it the over-the-top scenery? Is it the healthcare and education? I wonder if it\u2019s \u201cfriluftsliv.\u201d My Norwegian friends try to translate it, but that\u2019s challenging. Come on the pilgrimage to Nidaros<\/a>\u00a0on August 4-13, 2020, and experience \u201cfriluftsliv\u201d for yourself!<\/p>\n -Friluftsliv: the moments standing on top of a mountain with friends looking down into an emerald green fjord.<\/p>\n -Friluftsliv: the indescribable warmth sipping hot coffee surrounded by mountain goats as you finish a day-long hike and prepare to dine on locally grown foods.<\/p>\n -Friluftsliv: God\u2019s abundantly beautiful creation that makes one feel grateful to be alive.<\/p>\n -Friluftsliv: The Norwegian belief that \u201cthere\u2019s no bad weather, only bad clothing.\u201d<\/p>\n -Friluftsliv: The complete trust in one\u2019s fellow hikers.<\/p>\n -Friluftsliv: The way that life outside creates kindred spirits.<\/p>\n -Friluftsliv: The gift of creation that feeds one\u2019s soul.<\/p>\n I know and trust that on our upcoming pilgrimage, we will experience \u201cfriluftsliv.\u201d\u00a0 I\u2019m filled with wonderful anticipation. And as fellow hikers, we will each have our own definition of this awesome experience\u2014one that will be very difficult to put into words.
