{"id":46669,"date":"2016-01-04T20:23:59","date_gmt":"2016-01-04T20:23:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/alumni\/?p=46669"},"modified":"2016-01-04T20:24:19","modified_gmt":"2016-01-04T20:24:19","slug":"parent-update-financial-services-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/alumni\/2016\/01\/04\/parent-update-financial-services-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Parent Update: Financial Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The spring 2016 billing statements were electronically sent to all registered students on December 10 with a due date of\u00a0<span data-term=\"goog_1779409238\">January 5, 2016<\/span>; any remaining balance after that date is subject to\u00a0finance\u00a0charges.\u00a0 Students will have reminders sent to their Augsburg email account during the first week of each month reminding them to view their online monthly bill.<\/p>\n<p>All students are encouraged to give\u00a0parents\/guardians access to view these statements. Students must log in to<a href=\"http:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/studentfinancial\/\">www.augsburg.edu\/studentfinancial\/<\/a>\u00a0and select \u2018Make a Payment\/Account Activity\u2019 on the right hand menu. Click \u2018View your online student account\u2019 and follow the instructions under \u2018Parent\/Third Party Access Instructions \u2013 Make a Payment\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Students can view their statements by logging into\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/inside.augsburg.edu\/\">Inside Augsburg<\/a> and selecting Records &amp; Registration. Click on Make a Payment\/Account Activity\/Statement History and then view or download Augsburg Bill. To view a student\u2019s transaction history, follow all previous steps except select Click here to view transaction history; this is a more comprehensive and detailed view of a student\u2019s account.<\/p>\n<p>Students are also encouraged to give\u00a0parents\/guardians access to view their billing statements.\u00a0 Students must log in to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/studentfinancial\/\">Student Financial Services<\/a>\u00a0and select Make a Payment\/Account Activity on the right hand menu. Click \u2018View your online student account\u2019 and follow the instructions under Parent\/Third Party Access Instructions \u2013 Make a Payment.<\/p>\n<p>All students are still eligible to enroll in Augsburg\u2019s Online Payment Plan; however, the payments will be divided into four monthly payments if the application was not completed by December 26. Students must log in to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/studentfinancial\/\">Student Financial Services<\/a>\u00a0and select Make a Payment\/Account Activity on the right hand menu. Click Payment Plans and Discounts and follow the instructions under Augsburg Online Payment Plan. <strong>To ensure 4 monthly payments, the application\u00a0<em><u>must<\/u><\/em>\u00a0be completed by\u00a0<span data-term=\"goog_1779409239\">January 26, 2016<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To comply with FERPA regulations, students\u00a0must complete the online \u2018Information Release\u2019 form in order for our office to communicate with anyone besides themselves. The student must log into their <a href=\"http:\/\/augnet.augsburg.edu\">Augnet account<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/inside.augsburg.edu.\/\">Inside Augsburg<\/a> and click on Records and Registration<em>. <\/em>Under Information Release they need to Add an Authorization. They will enter the full name and email address of the party\/parties being granted permission for communication.
