As a result, Augsburg was ranked number 11\u00a0among Master&#8217;s institutions nationwide receiving\u00a0Fulbright Awards for 2013-2014.\u00a0Since 2007, the College has produced 17 Fulbright award winners.<\/p>\n<p>Over 1,800 U.S. students, artists and young professionals in more than 100 different fields of study have been offered Fulbright Program grants to study, teach English, and conduct research in over 140 countries throughout the world beginning this fall.\u00a0\u00a0Lists of Fulbright recipients are available at:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/us.fulbrightonline.org\/alumni\/grantee-directory\">https:\/\/us.fulbrightonline.org\/alumni\/grantee-directory.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Since its inception in 1946, the Fulbright Program has provided more than 325,000 participants\u2014chosen for their academic merit and leadership potential\u2014with the opportunity to study, teach and conduct research, exchange ideas and contribute to finding solutions to shared international concerns.\u00a0 In the past 67 years, more than 44,000 students from the United States have benefited from the Fulbright experience.<\/p>\n<p>The Fulbright Program is sponsored by the United States Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.\u00a0 The primary source of funding for the Fulbright Program is an annual appropriation made by the United States Congress to the Department of State. Participating governments and host institutions, corporations and foundations in foreign countries and in the United States also provide direct and indirect support.\u00a0 The J.
